Just pop a spike or two in to the soil, and water as usual. With every water they slow release the essential Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium, in the right balance, to keep cacti and succulents healthy and thriving. There are 30 plant spikes in one 39 gram pack.
How do you use Plant Food Spikes?
Pretty simple. Pop one to three spikes in the soil (check the spikes per pot guide below), roughly midway between the plant stem and edge of the pot. Push them down to just below the surface. Water as usual. Each spike lasts two months. Job done!
30 spikes per pack. How many per pot?
There are 30 spikes per pack, and you need roughly 1 plant spike per 5cms of pot, based on the diameter of your pot.
10cm pot = 1 to 2 spikes
14cm = 2 to 3 spikes
20cms = 3 to 4 spikes
25cm = 4 to 5 spikes
For pots 30cm+ add 1 spike per 5cms.
